Food Waste Regeneration

Food waste is one of the main sources of general business waste for catering and lodging operators. Fleur de Chine Hotel introduced a large-scale food waste disposer in 2020, turning food waste into fertilizer. Part of the output is used as a soil conditioner for the hotel’s in-house planting (such as a small vegetable garden for employee use), accounting for about 35% of the overall soil conditioner. Another part of the output is dry material, 74% of which is provided to local small farmers and used as raw materials for pig feed. We are also trying to use kitchen waste for power generation and continuing to explore more uses to achieve kitchen waste recycling.
